The Markle Foundation's Health Program

The Markle Foundation's Health Program focuses on the development of policies to help consumers and clinicians improve the health of all citizens, and the health care system that supports them, through the use of information technologies.

The cornerstone of the program is the Connecting for Health collaborative, comprised of more than 100 industry leaders from both the public and private sectors. Their areas of expertise cover such diverse yet interrelated areas as technology, policymaking, health care, government, advocacy, and academia.

The Markle Foundation's National Security program explores the many ways in which technology can help ensure the protection of all Americans while preserving their privacy and civil liberties. Through the work of the Markle Task Force on National Security in the Information Age, many of Markle's recommendations have been adopted into federal law and embedded into presidential directives and executive orders.
