Markle Director Says PHR Fragmentation Is a Problem

Personal health records (PHRs) could be the cornerstone in a national strategy for health information technology, but PHRs continue to evolve, both in concept and practice. For the past three years, David Lansky, senior director at the Markle Foundation and director of the Markle Personal Technology Initiative, has been leading a public-private collaborative of healthcare stakeholders.

Lansky addresses privacy and security concerns, PHR accuracy, solutions, and technical standards.
