Question: Did President Clinton commit perjury during the Lewinsky investigation? If you had been in Congress, would you have voted to impeach him? And, most importantly, will you pardon Clinton if you are elected president?
Submitted from James of Camarillo, California through washingtonpost.com (10/10/00)

Answer from Al Gore:

Priorities For The Future
This election is not about the past. It is about the future, and it is important that we remain focused on the future.

I'm focusing my campaign on plans to help parents and strengthen families. I want to make sure that our current prosperity and surplus benefit not just the few, but all families.
