Question: Did President Clinton commit perjury during the Lewinsky investigation? If you had been in Congress, would you have voted to impeach him? And, most importantly, will you pardon Clinton if you are elected president?
Submitted from James of Camarillo, California through washingtonpost.com (10/10/00)

Answer from John Hagelin:

President Clinton
President Clinton committed perjury during the Lewinsky investigation.

Had I been a member of Congress, I would not have elected to drag the nation through the President's dirty laundry, but would have focused on pressing national business and crucial solutions to the nation's problems. I will not pardon President Clinton if I am elected President.
