Taxpayers Take The Losses, While Big Bankers Take The Profits
Do you think your tax dollars are being spent for constitutional purposes, by those who are accountable
to the American people? Think again.
I disagree with both George Bush and Al Gore, each of whom supported a $17.9 billion U.S. taxpayer bailout of the International Monetary Fund. The IMF is little more than a money laundering operation where American taxpayers are indentured to support financial adventurism which can not bear the test of the marketplace. The international financial institutions, private and public, which operate through the IMF, the World Bank, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the Asian Development Bank, the African Development Bank and other such entities are in a position where they have put the American taxpayer in a position of bearing the risk of bad loans, without the American people enjoying any of the profits which they may reap. It's the bankers who make the profits. It's the American taxpayers who suffer the losses.
Both Bush and Gore in the debates talked about their compassion for poor nations and how we are going to relieve the debts of those poor nations. That's baloney! What they're doing is indenturing the American taxpayer to give money to these nations, many of which have corrupt socialist regimes, so that they can pay off the big bankers. The bankers who made these rotten loans in the first place did so knowing that they would never be held accountable and that they can always call upon the Republicans and Democrats to make the American taxpayer cough up the dough to cover their losses. This STINKS!
Under a Phillips presidency we will honor the Constitution. We will get out of the UN. We will get out of the International Monetary Fund. We will get out of the World Bank. We will end foreign aid. And we will encourage people like Al Gore and George Bush to use their own money to support the good causes in which they believe, and for other Americans to do so as well.
Al Gore makes a lot more money than I do, but a few years ago when his taxes came out it appeared that he had only given $300 to charity. However, he wants to force every American taxpayer to give thousands of dollars to the "charities" and organizations he prefers through the tax system. Lets make charity voluntary again.
The Constitution Party offers America a rebirth of freedom.
