Answer from Howard Phillips:
Term Limits For Broadcast Licenses
A lot of people talk about term limits.
I believe the most important kind of term limits we can impose and enforce are term limits on broadcast licenses, because it is the Big Media that is responsible for much of the ignorance and misinformation which has been directed to the American people.
I would put term limits on broadcast licenses so long as the federal government is involved in determining who controls the airwaves -- the antimonopoly principle should prevail.
Granting a lifetime guarantee of control of the public airwaves to a few select media organizations is not proper. We would open it up and let the people in.
