Policy for a Networked Society: Policy Participation

Center for Democracy and Technology: Internet Standards Bodies
Date Initiated: March 2001

A project under the Markle Foundation's ICANN-Related work umbrella, this initiative sought to enhance the representation of the public interest in Internet standards bodies. Conducted in collaboration with the Center for Democracy and Technology, the project focused on emerging technical and policy decisions that concern free expression, privacy, and access on the Internet.
