Data Sharing: Just What More Doctors Ordered

In a recent survey conducted by the Markle Foundation, three quarters of physicians surveyed want to be able to electronically share patients’ health information with colleagues and almost half want to share records with patients. 

The survey included responses from 1,582 consumers and 779 physicians.  Joseph Goedert, a writer for Information Management, shares the survey’s conclusions.
