How Familiar Are You With the Meaningful Use Incentive Program for Health Care Providers?

The meaningful use incentive program states that under the 2009 economic stimulus package, health care providers who demonstrate meaningful use of certified electronic health records can qualify for Medicaid and Medicare incentive payments. 

A survey that was conducted by the Markle Foundation found that 57% of the general public are not at all familiar with the meaningful use program, while only 9% of physicians are unfamiliar with the program.
