In this essay, former Markle president Lloyd N. Morrisett discussed the development of television and computers and explored the interplay between the two media. Morrisett also wrote about the development of multimedia, which is "the integrated use and display of visual images, motion, sound, data, graphics, and text, with the user being able to interact creatively with the display."
