Only 17 percent of the doctors surveyed said they use
computer-based means predominantly to communicate with other doctors today. -
However, 74 percent of the doctors said they would prefer
computer-based means to paper and fax when sharing patient information with each other. -
47 percent of the doctors would prefer
computer-based means to share information with their patients.
