Daniel Garrett leads PricewaterhouseCoopers’s Health Information Technology (HIT) practice. He works with clients on strategic planning, design and implementation of new business models, leveraging information technology to improve performance, effectiveness and quality at the across leading Provider, Health Plan, Pharmaceutical/Medical Device manufactures/distributors, and Life Sciences organizations.
Garrett served as the Vice Chairman of the Markle Foundation/Robert Wood Johnson Foundation’s Connecting for Health initiative. He serves on the board of directors for the eHealth Initiative and was appointed to the sustainability committee of American Health Information Community (AHIC).
Garrett holds a BS in computer and information science from Temple University’s Fox School of Business and is certified at the Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) level by the Association for Operations Management (APICS).
Garrett contributed to the Markle Common Framework for Private and Secure Information Exchange.
