Philip Marshall, MD, MPH, oversees product strategy and product management for Press Ganey, serving over 2000 hospitals, over 650 medical practices and approximately 90,000 physicians in the US.
Throughout his career, he has focused on enhancing how patients and physicians can more easily communicate and manage health data. He has worked extensively on electronic medical record systems at GE Medical Systems and Kaiser Permanente Northwest before becoming WebMD’s Vice President of Product Strategy. At WebMD, Marshall managed the creation and delivery of personalized health management, personal health record, and benefit, provider and treatment decision support services, particularly supporting WebMD’s growing employer and payer businesses. Marshall received his medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine, and has residency training in general surgery and public health and preventive medicine.
