Rick Ratliff

Rick Ratliff is the Global Managing Director for the Connected Health IT offering within the Accenture Health and Public Service Operating Group. He has over 25 years of experience in sales, marketing, business development, strategic planning and general management within Fortune 500 technology organizations as well as within a few early stage health care information technology services organizations.

Prior to joining Accenture, Ratliff was the founding COO of Surescripts, where he led the development of the largest electronic prescribing network in the U.S. In this capacity, he was responsible for establishing and managing strategic relationships across the health care ecosystem. Before joining Surescripts, he was co-founder of an early leader in provider sponsored health information exchange called Healthvision. He began his career as a systems engineer at IBM Corporation, advancing to various leadership positions with IBM’s healthcare industry business.

Ratliff is visible and active in industry leadership roles, participating in multiple industry work. He is also currently a Commissioner for the Commission for Certification of Health Information Technology (CCHIT).

Ratliff graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a degree in Chemical Engineering. He also holds a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Tulsa.
