Jimmy Chen is the founder and CEO of Propel, a company that builds world-class software to make safety net services more user-friendly. They are the makers of Fresh EBT, a free smartphone app that empowers over a million families nationally who receive food stamp benefits (SNAP) to improve their financial health. Previously, Jimmy was a Product Manager at Facebook, where he led the Facebook Groups team. Jimmy has also worked at LinkedIn and Yahoo. Jimmy studied Symbolic Systems/Human-Computer Interaction at Stanford University and lives in Brooklyn, NY with his dog.
